Message Dude do you know that nobody else has ever dynoed this much on stock injectos? lol I guess JUN was right about injectrs being enough for stock turbos, shiaaatttt.

Goes to say what a properly tuned Z can do. I would guess you'll be about 113-115mph range now for trap speeds :-). Low 12s are cake bro. Congrats on a good running car!!!

: the differences between the two is the red is what was safe last time I dynotuned with the fuel prob. The blue is what it's tuned safely for the 1/4 with my fuel prob now fixed. Once again, it was tuned in around 90 degrees+ temp and in 4th gear. I think with downpipes, testpipes, and 70 degree (or 50-60 like most like dynoqueens enjoy) dyno temperature, my car would EASILY bust 400 RWHP. That's what? 500 flywheel HP? Not bad for a 1990 W/85K stock turbos and injectors. Looks like Greg Dupree was right, you can probably get 450 safe RWHP (meaning not leaned out dangerously) out of a Z with stock turbos, it's just gotta be tuned right. I hit the track tomorrow to see what I can do with this newly found HP. My best run was Sat in over 100 degrees with a 12.88. They told me it was running rich as hell when I took it in. BTW, according to the dyno and sensors, the turbos seemed to be coming closer to peaking than the original stock injectors. That would make Jim Wolf right when he says there is no need to upgrade either the injectors or turbos alone, you won't get anything out of it unless you do both (or at least Mark tells me he says this). This also makes sense from what Greg tells me you shouldn't have a problem getting 650 HP from 550 CC injectors (unless you have an idiot tuning it [what I add to it]). OH, and the dyno was with my 18" Stern rims for those that asked me last time.
